ERP and OCD Intensive

For the loop that keeps asking for one more check, one more answer, one more moment of certainty. Andrea is certified in ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention).

A person ascending steps through a shadowed stone passage toward daylight.

The Cycle

When Reassurance Never Stays

Intrusive thoughts can attach themselves to what matters most. Checking, rumination, avoidance, and asking for reassurance may bring momentary relief, only for doubt to return.

This work may address contamination fears, relationship OCD, health OCD, perfectionism, and other obsessive-compulsive patterns. The focus is on understanding what keeps your particular cycle going, without judging the content of your thoughts.

A Different Relationship with Uncertainty

Living With Uncertainty

The work helps you practice living meaningfully without needing absolute certainty first.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you tell me my fear cannot happen?

ERP does not rely on absolute reassurance. The work centers on practicing a different response to uncertainty.

Do I have to do the hardest exposure first?

No. You and Andrea build a personalized hierarchy and consider a clinically appropriate starting point.

Can this address mental rituals?

Yes. Rumination, mental reviewing, and reassurance seeking can all be part of the OCD cycle you map together.
