The concern you can name is a good place to start. You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis or a polished explanation.

A Place to Begin

Find the Words for What Keeps Returning

Some experiences are difficult to search for, let alone describe to another person. Maybe you understand the pattern but still find yourself checking. Maybe a relationship feels different after something painful. Maybe everyone sees a capable professional while you know how much energy each decision costs. You can begin with the part you recognize.

These pages describe the concerns Andrea works with and what sessions can hold. They are not self-tests. A label is useful only if it helps you speak more clearly about your experience. In a consultation, you can talk about what is happening and consider the level and format of care that fits, without trying to settle every question before the conversation starts.

The effects of earlier experiences can surface in your body, your relationships, and the ways you protect yourself.

Care That Fits the Concern

What the Work Can Look Like

If OCD is part of the picture, Andrea is Certified in ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention). Sessions can look at the urge to check, avoid, or ask for reassurance, then plan how to practice another response. For trauma, Andrea is EMDR trained and considers preparation and readiness before a method is chosen. Sex therapy consists of conversation only; sexual contact and physical sexual activity are never part of sessions.

Individual Therapy is $225 for 50 minutes; Sex Therapy is $250 for 50 minutes. Couples and Sex Therapy is $300 for 50 minutes, and a 90-minute Extended Specialty Session is $395. The ERP/OCD and EMDR Intensives each provide 180 minutes of concentrated therapeutic time for $1,500. A $100 consultation is required before any intensive. The $100 is credited in full toward your first paid session or intensive.

Care is offered by secure telehealth for people located in Texas, Colorado, or Idaho at the time of their session. If you are unsure which page describes your experience, the consultation can start with what you have noticed. Andrea can discuss which format and level of support may be appropriate.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What if more than one specialty sounds familiar?

Concerns can overlap. In a consultation, you can describe what happens rather than selecting a single category in advance.

Do I need a diagnosis before requesting a consultation?

No. You can begin with your experience and discuss what kind of care fits after an assessment.

How do I choose between regular therapy and an intensive?

Regular sessions offer a consistent rhythm; intensives offer more concentrated, extended therapeutic time. The $100 consultation is required before any intensive and helps determine fit.
