For Two People in the Room
Therapy for Couples
You can come in with a recurring fight, a distance neither of you intended, or a question about intimacy you keep postponing.

Who Comes In
You Do Not Need a Shared Script
One of you may have proposed therapy; the other may still be unsure. Some couples argue often; some rarely argue but feel like roommates. Others are trying to talk about desire, trust, or the way a life change rearranged the relationship. Andrea begins by hearing what each person thinks is happening.
Couples care is for adults in a relationship who want to examine the interaction between them. You do not have to present an identical account of a disagreement. A difference in perspective is often the starting material.
An Early Session
Three Things to Put on the Table
01What each of you hopes will change about the conversation.
02One recent exchange that captures the stuck point.
03What has felt difficult to say directly at home.
You are allowed to disagree about why you came.
Early Meetings
Start With a Recent Moment
In the first sessions, Andrea asks what brought you in, what you have tried, and where a conversation usually gets stuck. You might walk through a recent argument in slow motion: who reached out, what the other heard, and what happened next. That lets you work with a pattern rather than debate whose memory is correct.
Andrea can ask about safety, privacy, and whether couples work is appropriate. She is warm and direct; a session includes active questions, rather than leaving you to argue without interruption.
Weekly or Extended
Time for the Shape of the Concern
Couples and Sex Therapy is $300 for 50 minutes. Regular sessions let you return to what happened during the week, including attempts to communicate differently. An Extended Specialty Session is $395 for 90 minutes if more time is appropriate for a specific concern.
A Couples & Intimacy Intensive is $1,750 for 180 minutes of concentrated, extended therapeutic time. It requires a $100 consultation before booking. The $100 is credited in full toward your first paid session or intensive.
Meeting by Telehealth
A Private Place for Both of You
Sessions are offered by secure telehealth while you are located in Texas, Colorado, or Idaho. Both partners need space to speak without interruptions. You can discuss practical questions about participation during the consultation.
You might bring a sentence you keep saying at home and what you wish the other person understood when you say it. Andrea can explore the meaning on both sides without asking you to settle the relationship's future before starting.
Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What if one of us is more willing to attend?
That difference can be discussed in the consultation and early sessions. Both partners have a chance to speak honestly about participating.
Is an intensive a substitute for regular couples therapy?
Not necessarily. An intensive provides more concentrated time; regular sessions offer continuity. Fit is discussed in the required consultation.
